My children
If you could instantly master one skill, what would it be?
I would love to be a master baker. Sign me up the Great British Baking show (even though I'm not British).
What is a career "low point" that actually set you up for success?
I had to start over in a completely different career than what I originally thought. I studied education, I was a competitive gymnastics coach for YEARS. I worked at one of the best gyms in the country. I was very well versed in my field and then I realized it wasn't what I wanted to do anymore, for many reasons. I had to start over and I knew nothing. I took a large pay cut and started working at Invst at the front desk. I didn't know the difference between an IRA and RIA but I worked, hard. I moved my way through the ranks and the rest is history.
What piece of advice would you give your younger self?
Fight for yourself! Meaning, have the hard conversations. No one is coming to save you. You must be your own advocate. Fight for the life you want.
Fun Fact
Fun fact I hate this question. Really though, I love museums, and the number one thing on my bucket list it to visit the pyramids in Egypt and see the Cairo museum.
